Claude, an auctioneer in his 50s, forms with Marie a couple united for fifteen years and still in love. However, in the intimacy, and in spite of a desire always alive, Claude has problems of erection. While Marie agrees with a smile of these failures, Claude becomes angry and decides to consult a specialist. There followed various medical examinations which Marie mocks gently. To reassure himself, he decides to seduce other women. While on a business trip to Geneva, he gets the Viagra pill, but his attempt at seduction fails. On his return to Paris, Marie, more seductive than ever, strives to make him forget his age and his weaknesses.
