De Gebroeders Schimm tells the story of a young girl Lilith who's been sent to a boarding school. Here, she finds her place and she makes friends. But she soon finds out that all her new friends of her are haunted by little black shadows. Curious to find out what these shadows are, she gets in contact with The Ghastly Brothers, two professional ghost hunters. Now, these ghost hunters are used to deal with the usual: white spirits, poltergeists and things that go 'bump' in the night. They track'em, whack'em and shove them back under the bed or lock them in the closet. But when Lilith confronts the brothers with this new dark menace at her school, they soon realize these shadows lurking behind the kids are no normal ghosts. They're inner demons, feasting on your insecurities and emotions you don't want anyone to know. Lilith starts calling them Emons, demons that feast on your emotions. But this battle against darkness cannot be fought with locking it up in closets or hiding it under your bed. This time "talking about it" is part of the battle plan. Together with Lilith and her friends, the brothers tackle the most difficult monster in their whole career, the one that hides in every single one of us .
